Sydney (they/them) is an artist and writer based in Austin, TX who specializes in walking the line between whimsy and ruin—crafting surrealist fantasy that embraces boundless freedom and originality, while also delving into the shadows of human nature, exploring themes of grief, trauma, and the weight of ambition. Their work exists in the space between wonder and downfall, where imagination knows no limits, but neither do the depths of human complexity.
When they’re not lost in their latest creation, Sydney can be found working on finishing their degree, experimenting with new artistic mediums, or playing a video game with their loving partner. They share their home with two scheming cats, two opinionated birds, and an ever-growing collection of plants that they are constantly (and often unsuccessfully) trying to keep alive.
